The Civic Museum of Modena (referred to hereafter as the Museum) created the website www.museocivicomodena.it with the aim of publishing data and documents regarding its creative production and activities. The contents of the site may be modified at any time and without notice.

The Museum’s privacy policy is available on the homepage of the website.

 

Social Media

The Museum uses social media for communication purposes regarding our educational activities and the promotion of cultural heritage. Published content includes photographs, videos, press releases, service information, news about Museum activities and related services. Through its social media networks, the Museum can share content and messages of public interest published by other users. The Museum is committed to providing spaces of communication and dialogue within its own profiles on various social media platforms, and asks its users to follow a few simple rules of decency, respect and propriety.

Each user is responsible for content they post or opinions they express. Nevertheless, insults, threats, hateful, offensive or obscene comments, images or videos, or any other harassing or defamatory behavior will not be tolerated. Interest in topics regarding the Museum’s activities is an essential prerequisite; no advertising, spam or promotion of private interests or illegal activities will be tolerated, and no content that constitutes infringement of copyright or intellectual property or that contains unauthorized use of a registered trademark will be allowed.

In any case, where permitted by social media sites, all posts, comments or audio/video material that contain inappropriate, threatening, violent, vulgar or disrespectful language, or that include illicit, offensive, obscene, misleading, alarmist or discriminatory content, or that promote or support illegal activity, or that violate copyright will be removed by Museum staff.
