Montale Park reopens

The Terramara Archaeological Park in Montale will be open from 15 September to 24 November 2024 with a new calendar of events, Sundays and holidays

From Sunday 15 September to Sunday 24 November, a staff of archaeologists will accompany visitors to discover the traces of the 3500-year-old village and the reconstructions created on the basis of the excavations. The excitement of the visit inside the houses is renewed with the sounds and noises of a terramara, a new sound path inaugurated on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of its opening (2004-2024).

In September and October, visits become experiences with demonstrations of ancient craft techniques by specialists and themed workshops for children to learn about the world of terramares.

In November, guided tours and workshops alternate to end the autumn together in the magical atmosphere of the Montale Park: special moments to share while sipping a warm herbal tea amidst stories and experiments.
