Ad perpetuam rei memoriam – Street art

Street art by Eron, pioneer in urban art and grafiti in Italy. Created in 2017 on a wall of the historical Palazzo Santa Chiara (Via degli Adelardi 4) to commemorate the 2,200th anniversary of the founding of Mutina, the work bears witness to the city’s Roman origins and to the significance of the place that hosts it: recalling Roman monuments, the artist entrusts a dove with a message that has been symbolically split in half, like the wall destroyed by the bombings, and incomplete, like the achievement of peace.
